As a result of the nearly two-month mandatory shutdown due to COVID-19 and ongoing social distancing requirements, we were unable to maintain a full staff in our fulfillment center. A single dedicated worker currently handles it. Due to the volume of orders awaiting processing, we are shipping orders an average of 30+ business days for most products. All in-stock orders for the Mandalorian Helmet placed before March continue to be processed for delivery, but with a delay. Order processing prioritizes by the oldest orders shipping first. All Sales Final. We cannot cancel your order but you can exchange for an in-stock item if your original items has not shipped yet.
Orders placed after March for the Mandalorian Helmet could experience longer than anticipated delays. During the same shutdown period, many of our skilled craftsmen were self-quarantining while our factory ceased operations. In this new period of phased reopening, we are allowed to manufacture at 50% capacity, yet are still suffering from multiple upsets in manufacturing capabilities due to staff attrition and COVID-19 induced supply chain disruptions. Our most significant delay cause is a supply shortage of PETG sheet plastics. PETG is the primary plastic used for Health Care professional's PPE face shields – and rightfully so is prioritized over all other needs. The delays in finding dependable plastics supply seem to fluctuate on a near-weekly basis, as we are encountering inconsistent quality of new PETG plastic stock with higher than average pigment/dye uptake failure rates. In a nutshell, like so many others in our industry, we are experiencing difficulties in our efforts to resume regular operations at even a below-average level.
